When you first see these little guys, you’re probably thinking to yourself, “Wow! I haven’t seen anything this funky-looking since the 2008 Beanie Babies Specials! What are these obnoxious but adorable creatures?”
They’re the Giant Microbes, of course! Upon closer inspection, it all obviates itself–what was once fuzzy and strange looking to you is suddenly realized to be flagella, they’re strange little feet that propels them from one place in your body to another! Perhaps now you realize that that lengthy segment of pitch fuzz and nonsense is actually the segmented leg of the common house pest, the black ant!
Bacteria, bacteriophages, microscopic fiends, itty-bitty invertebrates, disease causers, diseases curers–the whole gang’s here! It’s all a matter of choosing your favorite (because, you know, everybody has a favorite malady)! Looking for something punny? Then Mad Cow might be your thing, a neurodegenerative disease patterned unqiuely black and white like the much loved Holstein cows today! Looking for something silly for your honey? Mononucleosis, or the Kissing Disease, would do just the trick with its puckered lips and flirty, fluttery eyelashes! It’s educational, it’s harmless and for whatever reason it’s hilarious! Collect them all, give them to your friends, keep them for your office at the work place or give them to your children to play with (they’re too cute and educational to pass up!).
